Patrick Ledwell’s clean, customized comedy is the positive answer to these questions.
He has developed different styles of performance to suit different venues and groups. These performance styles range from direct standup storytelling, to an enhanced multimedia slide show, with themed, custom created graphics for the group. He also writes scripts for hosted events, and is experienced in facilitating collaborative sessions.
Patrick’s quick-witted comedy has brought him national recognition with multiple appearances on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters.” He has hosted at the East Coast Music Awards, and performed at the Halifax and Moncton Comedy Festivals.

Ledwell & Haines Comedy & Music Review
The Ledwell and Haines Review tells Atlantic Canadian stories through high-tempo comedy and foot-stomping music. Their show has been described as “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” meets “Don Messer’s Jubilee,” a modern comic take on the traditional Maritime kitchen party.
On the nightly menu, there’s stand-up comedy, traditional and contemporary music, mock-informative projected slideshows, and new combinations at every curve. The Ledwell and Haines show sets out to leave the theatre rafters ringing, with hand clapping, laughter, and lots of crowd singing and participation.
The only rules? That the stories ring true to Atlantic Canada, bring together everyone aged 13 to 93, and help all check their worries at the door for the night.

Patrick Ledwell’s quick-witted comedy has brought him national recognition with multiple appearances on CBC Radio’s “The Debaters.” He’s a popular host and comedian at events across Canada, from the Royal Visit to Charlottetown to a recent performance in Inuvik, above the Arctic Circle.
His first book “I Am an Islander” is a Canadian bestseller, and his new book An Islander Strikes Back just was released in May.
During the summer season, he performs with Mark Haines in the hit PEI show “The Island Summer Review.”
Patrick lives on a hobby farm outside Charlottetown PEI, with his wife Tara and his 6-year-old son Nate.
