Liz Rigney is best known for her time on CTV.  She co-hosted Breakfast Television for 8 years before moving to the newsroom to report and host the nighty entertainment section on CTV News at 5.  She is now the Executive Producer of CTV Morning Live and Manager of Community Relations at CTV Atlantic.

Liz is also a singer – having performed at a variety of events over the years including the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo and has appeared regularly with The Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy.  You can find her every Saturday singing with the G Street Band – the house jazz band at The Pacifico in Halifax.  She has released two CD’s – Red Petticoat and Chameleon.

Liz sits on the Board of the Atlantic Film Festival and is the executive producer of the annual IWK Telethon for Children.  She has twice cycled 100 km in support of cancer research and spent several years as a volunteer at Hospice Halifax.

Liz is a reluctant runner, a coffee addict and a world traveler.
