Why You Need Brad

Brad Gushue is all about firsts. An iconic Canadian curler from St. John’s, Newfoundland, he is a celebrated Olympian and record five time Tim Horton’s Brier Champion skip, having won in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2023. He has an impressive and extensive curling career and has proudly represented Canada on the World curling circuit. He also represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics, where he won a bronze medal. In 2006, incredible teamwork and leadership won them Gold at the Olympic Games. This medal marked the first time that a Canadian team won Gold for men’s curling. With his teammates, Gushue also became the first Newfoundlander ever to win an Olympic gold medal.

A graduate of Memorial University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Brad is currently pursing an MBA through the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University in Kingston. Brad has successfully balanced a demanding athletic career, family life and several businesses.  He has ownership in 5 Orange Theory Fitness Centres in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. He has been inducted into the Order of Newfoundland and Labrador and received an Honorary Doctorate from Memorial University, Newfoundland.
